Local Residents Support Wildlife
DICKINSON, N.D. – Plenty of smiles, laughter and fun highlighted the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) Teddy Roosevelt Chapter’s first annual banquet recently held at the Dickinson Eagles.
The 100+ people attending the banquet and auction raised more than $6,000 for the benefit of mule and black-tailed deer and their habitats.
Special thanks go out to several of those who helped make the event a success by volunteering their time and hard work putting this benefit together, including Greg and Susie Knudsen from Andrus Outdoors, Curt Decker, Pat Lothspeich, Bill Schaller, Ty Dressler, Curt Glasoe, Brent Belland, Darcy Kramlich, Harlan Rebsom, Aaron Olson, Les and Gail Mason, Ryan Krapp, Dan Ackerman, Tim and Shane Wolf, Paul and Jonathan Eslinger, Jean Steiner and Russ Walsh. Thanks to their time and to generous donations by Steiner’s Pharmacy, mule deer and other wildlife across the West will benefit from healthier, more secure habitat.
The evening was very exciting with Ross Glass, from Glass Auction Services and Terry Fleck, the Attitude Doctor, keeping everyone on their toes and laughing throughout the night.
Speaking on behalf of the West’s precious wildlife and all MDF members, Regional Director Brandon Mason expressed his appreciation to all those involved in making the Teddy Roosevelt Chapter banquet and auction a tremendous success. “Because of the support and enthusiasm of the banquet attendees we were able to raise valuable dollars to put on the ground in North Dakota and across the West,” said Brandon.
