Mule Deer Foundation and Bass Pro Shops Team Up for Mule Deer Conservation

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Earlier this year the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) and the national outdoor hunting and fishing equipment catalog and retail store company Bass Pro Shops of Springfield, Mo., teamed up to help Mule Deer habitat.

Bass Pro Shops committed to underwriting the 2007 MDF banquet belt buckle that is made exclusively for MDF events by Montana Silversmith of Columbus, Mont.

MDF’s Director of Merchandise Ray Crow said, “We are thrilled to see companies like Bass Pro Shops come on board and get excited about the move forward we are making for Mule Deer and their habitat.”

Bass Pro Shops’ Ellie Cork said, “We are always willing to help conservation groups reach their missions, and we are proud to be part of what the Mule Deer Foundation is doing.”

MDF’s CEO Miles Moretti added, “The idea of Bass Pro Shops and MDF coming together will only help put more money on the ground for conservation.”
