Dannie Jasmine Scholarship
The mission of the mule deer foundation (MDF) is to ensure the conservation of mule and black-tailed deer and their habitats. As a way to protect our mule deer heritage, the Jasmine family and MDF have teamed up to provide an annual scholarship at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), Department of Environmental and Resource Sciences (ERS). Today's students are tomorrow's decision-makers who will lead wildlife conservation efforts through this millennium.
This scholarship is in memory of Dannie Jasmine - a Nevadan who was a dedicated conservationist and hunter interested in passing on his love of the wild outdoors to future generations. The recipient will be awarded a $500 scholarship and a one-year membership in MDF.
